    It is optional. If you can print checks from your computer with no problem, you do not need to update ezCheckPrinting.

    If you purchased ezCheckPrinting version 9, you will get updates for version 9 for free. If you purchased version 8 or previous version, you need to purchase the new license key to use the latest version.

    Steps to update ezCheckPrinting

    Step 1: As a precaution, back up database.
    - If you have only one checking account, you can click ezCheckPrinting application top menu "Accounts" to back up your data.

    - If you have multiple checking accounts, you can follow the option 2 in the guide to backup data.



    Step 2: Close ezCheckPrinting application and download the latest version.


    Step 3: Purchase and register the new license if you used a different version before.
    For example: If you purchased ezCheckPrinting version 8, you need to purchase the new license to use ezCheckPrinting version 9.





    How to rollback to previous version if I installed version 9 by mistake?

    Step 1: As a precaution, back up database.
    - If you have only one checking account, you can click ezCheckPrinting application top menu "Accounts" to back up your data.

    - If you have multiple checking accounts, you can follow the option 2 in the guide to backup data.



    Step 2: Uninstall the current version of ezCheckPrinting.
    Click the Start button , click on Control Panel, click on Programs, and then click on Programs and Features. Select ezCheckPrinting from program list, and then click Uninstall.



    Step 3: Download the previous version.
