Thank you for reaching out to us. here are the answers to your questions.

1. I did not see how you would transfer the chart of accounts from QB with its data. QB only exports the chart of accounts with as a .IIF file.

ezAccounting does not support importing the chart of accounts from .IIF files. However, you can manually add new accounts and edit the beginning balance if needed. For more details on managing the chart of accounts:

2. With regard to vendors and customers, exporting can be done as a .CSV file, but it looks like you can only get the basic information, name, address, telephone, etc. Is there a way to also get the data, too?

ezAccounting can import basic information such as names and contact details. Unfortunately, it cannot import transactional data at this time. Could you specify the additional data you’d like to import? I will pass this request to our development team for future consideration.

3. If had, for example, several bank accounts. Could you create the main title called Banks and then have as subcategories the names of the banks? If so, how is that done.

You can easily add multiple bank accounts in ezAccounting. When entering a check, you can specify which bank account to use. However, ezAccounting does not support hierarchical subcategories for bank accounts.

4. If I create an estimate, can I save/memorize it so I can use that same template for additional estimates?

Yes, you can edit and save your estimate template for future use.

Note: Note: To customize the estimate, select "Estimate" from the form name list in Step 1.2.

5. I did not see on the estimate templates, bill templates where I can save and reuse that inforattion where I can then create an invoice without having to retype the estimate?

Please refer to the answer in question #4. You can edit and save templates for invoices also.

6. Is Quicken Simplify the software I need coming from QB DP or is one of the other versions better?

Quicken is not one of our products. Our software is called ezAccounting, and many clients successfully switch from QuickBooks to ezAccounting. Feel free to download and try ezAccounting with no obligation.

7. The 30-day trial version is that a full version including all versions or is it a stripped down version?

The ezAccounting trial version is fully functional, but it has some limitations, such as printing watermarks on paychecks, checks, and forms.

8. Are invoice templates or bill templates customizeable?

Yes. Please see the answer to question #4 for more details.

9. Does ezcheckprinting work with any other accounting software, such as Quicken?

Yes, ezCheckPrinting supports QuickBooks, Quicken, and other accounting software as long as the check format is QuickBooks compatible. We offer a free trial version of ezCheckPrinting, so you can try it out at no cost or obligation.

Please feel free to contact us if you still have any questions.
