Dear Charles,

EzCheckPrinting can write checks on both blank stock and pre-printed blank checks.

If your blank checks from bank come with the MICR encoding line, you can use any printer including HP6940 inkjet. When you set up the account with our check writer, you should select the option to use pre-printed checks.

If you like to save money by printing check on blank check paper in the future, we suggest MICR ink tone and laser printer. Some ATM machines and grocery stores may not be able to scan the MICR line printed by ink-jet printer if they are using old scanner.
