1. ezPaycheck is the desktop version and all data is saved on your machine. You have full controls.

2. QuickBooks does not allow other software to write payroll data back to its database directly. If you just need to track the running balance, ezPaycheck report feature will work for you. Many of our customers get the summary data from ezPaycheck reports and enter it into QuickBooks manually. This solution may work for you also.

3. You are welcome to download ezPaycheck and try it for 30 days free with no obligation and no credit card needed

The owner of our company has decided to not purchase the newest version of QuickBooks because he doesn't want our employee data stored in the cloud. I am curious about ezPaycheck, but I need more information before I discuss this possibility with him. First, does all the data live on our computer, or is it stored in the cloud? If it is in the cloud, you don't need to bother addressing my next concern.

There are a lot of reasons that we would like to "move" the payroll data back to QuickBooks, since we intend to continue using it for the rest of our bookkeeping tasks. If I understood the information I found on HalfPriceSoft.com, QB doesn't allow outside data to be ported into QB, which doesn't surprise me at all. (We have never been able to get our time clock data to port into QB correctly.) My impression is that we can get a report from your software that can then be manually entered into QB. I would like to see a sample of this report. We run payroll bi-weekly, & I would prefer to continue to maintain that level of detail in QB. I would also like more detail on whether the data can be entered directly, or only using journal entries.

Finally, I would REALLY like an opportunity to actually talk with someone, rather than exchange multiple emails. I would appreciate it you would give me a phone number where I can call to discuss any further questions your response raises.

Thank you,
