I am paying my employee a semi-monthly salary paycheck. The pay start is
1/1/25-1/15/25 for pay date 1/15/25.

Salary $123,264. Taxable for pay period is $4,602 after hsa and sep taken
out.

SS and Medicare are correct at $314.3 & $73.51 but federal tax appears to
be very high at $663.12 for married.

I ran this through 2 other online payroll sites to make sure the federal
tax taken out was correct and they both were calculated at around $390 per
pay period for federal tax. Do you have any suggestions why the automated
federal tax could be so much higher?

Thanks so much.
