ezTimeSheet employee timeclock simplifies vacation, sick and leave time management. If your ezTimeSheet stopped working suddently, please check the solutions below.
Reason 1: The ezTimeSheet desktop shortcut is broken (*****)
Solution 1: Start ezTimeSheet from program folder
We noticed some customers could not run ezTimeSheet because the desktop shortcut was broken. You can also start this ezTimeSheet software from program folder
The default program folder is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Halfpricesoft\ezTimeSheet
You can double click ezTimeSheet.exe file to run it. (If your system hides extension, you just double click ezTimeSheet). If it works, you can delete the old desktop shortcut and follow this article to create a new shortcut on desktop.
Issue 2 Some anti-virus and ant-spy applications may block installation by mistake (****)
Solution 2:
According to clients' feedback, the following applications may stop our software from downloading or running.
The default database folder is:
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Halfpricesoft\ezTimeSheet
3.1 Copy settings.xml to other location as a backup
3.2 Remove settings.xml from this folder
3.3 start ezTimeSheet to generate the new settings file. ezTimeSheet will start in trial mode and you need to enter the key code again. (You can find the key code in your email account that you used for this order)
