Step 1: Install both ezCheckPrinting and Virtual Check Printer on your Windows computer.

You need to install ezCheckPrintint and virtual Printer Version 9 and later versions.

Step 2: Check account set up and printer test

Before proceeding, please run the ezCheckPrinting application at least once and print a test check to ensure that both ezCheckPrinting and your printer are functioning correctly.

You can set up the bank account and specify the paper check format (top, bottom or 3-per-page) in this step.

A real physical printer is required to print checks in this step. (Do not use the virtual printer)

Step 3: Print checks from your application on blank stock in one step.

3.1 Start your application and proceed with printing checks as usual. When you reach the select printer screen, select "ezCheckPrinting QuickBooks Driver"(the virtual printer) as the current printer

IMPORTANT: You MUST select TOP format check or voucher check in this step. This is the required format to transfer check data and stub data. This specific format is necessary for the transfer of both check data and stub data. If you require checks in different formats, such as 3-per-page, you can specify the check format within ezCheckPrinting in step 2.2.

3.2 If you are using trial version, you will see the key input pop up window. Once you enter the key code, you will not see it again.

If you are using the trial version and your computer hides the pop up screen, please refer to this guide to display the pop up screen.

You should copy and paste the key code including "-" for ezCheckPrinting virtual printer here. (Guide: How to register the license)

3.3 You can switch account and printer in this step

You can click the printer icon to print checks on blank stock. Please close this preview screen after you print the check(s).
