I cannot submit the test to the IRS - I keep getting this error:


[TPE1130] Our system has detected an error with the Test File Code of your Manifest file. Please check the file and try again. Please note that the Test File Code value of 'T' is used for AATS transmissions and the Test File Code value of 'P' is used for transmissions intended for IRS compliance processing.

Thank you for contacting us. Here are the two possible reasons for this error:

1. You submitted the test XML files to production site by mistake.

2. You generated the regular XML files not the test files because You did not check "Is Test" on ez1095 efile screen.

By the way, for testing purpose, you cannot use your own company data. We have prepared all data for you. You need to download it and add your own TCC code. (Or you can follow IRS guide to enter the test data yourself.)
