We are seeking a stand-alone software which allows us to create a profile for each of our five businesses. Then when we need to print a check, we would select which company it is from, and it would assign the next check number, and then allow us to enter the payee information & dollar amount and date then click print. We have blank checks (flat laser printer stock).
We are using Checkeeper now (online solution) but it is not flexible enough for our needs (we need to place memo information on the checks) and then additional information on the blank paper below the check (ie what the payment is for, and perhaps accounting balance information, etc).
