Good Morning -

We are filing 1095B forms after having created them within the application and then validated them through the verification process (in the application).

All our submissions are 'Accepted with Errors' and returned with two errors:

AIRBR618 - Responsible Individual's TIN Type is Missing
AIRBR602 - Issuer's TIN Type is Missing

Looking at the XML output, I see that for COVERED individuals, we have the tags (INDIVIDUAL_TIN), but we don't have them in the other two sections. There is also no place to define this explicitly within the form entry screen or the application (that I can find). As you've mentioned here, we can't edit the file due to checksum issues (but more primarily, it would be a pain in the behind).

Any thoughts on how to get them added so we can resubmit? Thanks!

Dear valued customer,

TIN error typically happens when the last name and SSN don’t match what the IRS has on file. Would you please double check your forms?

ie:
1. Maiden name used when married name is registered with the SSA (or vice-versa)
2. You entered wrong EIN on form 1094C
3. You entered wrong SSN or last name

Thank you.
