We are a print shop that has quite a lot of customers for whom we print checks. We print all the information – micr line, “Pay to line,” customer information, bank information, etc. – and they receive those check blanks and use QuickBooks or whatever to fill in amounts, etc.
We usually print 500 checks at a time to fill a letterhead box, We will print anywhere from 50 to 5000 checks total.
