Option 2: If your old Mac is crashed or if you are a CPA with many client accounts, you can transfer data manually
Option 2: Steps to transfer ezCheckPrinting
ezCheckPrinting Mac version database backup file is .db file. you should NOT open this backup file manually or with application. Please follow the instruction in step 2.2 to restore your data.
Step 1: Connect the hard disk of the old Mac and copy data to the USB disk.
If you back up data to the USB or cloud or other location before, you can skip this step .
1.1 If you are using Version 6
1.1.1. Click the Finder
1.1.2. Click the device name (ie: Mark's iMac)
1.1.3. Enter "halfpricesoft" and search
1.1.4. Open "halfpricesoft" folder, open "ezCheckPrinting" folder, and open "database" folder. The database files are .db files. You can backup all the .db files manually to the USB disk, external driver or other location.
1.2 If you are using Version 5
1.2.1. Open "Finder"->"Application", you will see ezCheckPrinting there;
2.2: Retrieve license
Start ezCheckPrinting and click the "Restore Purchases" button to retrieve license from Apple Store.
2.3 Restore data
Click the top menu "Accounts", then "Restore Account" to restore the data from the USB disk.
