Troubleshooting: ezPaycheck Stopped Running on Mac

Issue: I cannot start ezPaycheck on my Mac.

Reason 1: Mac updates might mess up the user permission.

Solution 1: Give current user permission to run ezPaycheck and access data

You need to have full permissions of this folder and all subfolders and files inside this folder. /users/xxxxx/Library/Containers/com.tekplus.ezPaycheck

Reason 2: settings file was messed up

Solution 2: create a new settings file

2.1. Delete the settings.xml file

File location
/users/xxxxx/Library/Containers/com.tekplus.ezPaycheck/Data/Documents/Halfpricesoft/ezPaycheck/settings.xml

2.2. Restart ezPaycheck. It will create a new settings file.

Reason 3: System registry was messed up.

Solution 3: Uninstall and reinstall ezPaycheck

3.1 As a precaution, backup data if you did not backup data before.

The database is .db file.

File location:
/users/xxxxx/Library/Containers/com.tekplus.ezCheckPrinting/Data/Documents/Halfpricesoft/ezPaycheck/Databases/xxxxxxx.db

3.2 uninstall ezPaycheck
Drag the icon to trash can.

3.3 reinstall ezPaycheck
