1. I am in California, How do I know that ezPaycheck payroll sofware, gave me the rates for CA?

2. Also, I noticed that SDI for the California local taxes is not printed in the W2. How can I correct this?

3. How do I change the name from "SampleCompanyBK2018" to my clients company name?

4. How do I open the backup in the thumb drive, if is in ACCESS and it requires "Data Base Passwork" ?

5. Is this software good for one computer only, or I can download it on my 2nd computer? OR do I need to purchase separately for the other computer ?

1. I am in California, How do I know that ezPaycheck payroll sofware, gave me the rates for CA?

ezPaycheck will calculate federal tax and state based on the current tax tables and your settings (ie: single or married, number of allowance).

2. Also, I noticed that SDI for the California local taxes is not printed in the W2. How can I correct this?

If you need more features (ie: edit, efile or PDF printing) for W2 printing, please use ezW2 with ezPaycheck. ezW2 can pull data from ezPaycheck in a few clicks.

If you are an accountant, we suggest you use ezW2 withe ezPaycheck. ezW2 is approved by SSA to print ALL W2 and W3 on white paper. (SSA approved vendor ID: 1335). ezW2 can print 1099-misc and 1096 also.

3. How do I change the name from "SampleCompanyBK2018" to my clients company name?

Your can click ezPaycheck top menu "Company", then click sub menu "Duplicate Current Account" to duplicate the current account with a different name. You can delete the old account later.


4. How do I open the backup in the thumb drive, if is in ACCESS and it requires "Data Base Password" ?

The back up file of ezPaycheck payroll software is .mdb (Microsoft Access Database) file. This file is NOT designed to read manually. You need to read the backup data with ezPaycheck payroll software.

5. Is this software good for one computer only, or I can download it on my 2nd computer? OR do I need to purchase separately for the other computer ?

ezPaycheck single user version ($99) can support multiple companies on the same computer with no extra cost. If you need to install it on the second company, you must purchase 2-user version ($149). Many CPAs like our software.
