We see such issue before. Usually, such issue was caused by printer driver or images or check settings. Please follow the steps below:
Step 1. Please update your printer driver. It is the most possible reason.
1) Find your current macOS

Step 2. Such issue may be caused by image files or check settings. You can verify it by adding a new testing account.
1). Start ezCheckPrinting
2). Add a new account
Click the top menu "Accounts->New Account" to add a new bank account.
3). Enter a simple name like "test 123"
4). Keep the default settings
5). Print a few checks.
If you can print checks with the new account with no problem, please check your image files and check settings.
