Beginning January 1, 2018, all employers in Washington State must provide non-exempt employees with paid sick leave under a new state law, Initiative 1433

Employees must accrue sick leave at a rate of at least 1 hour for every 40 hours worked. Accrual begins upon commencement of employment or after January 1, 2018.

Will be a way to accrued those hours on the software (employee hours year to date) or how can I handle that on ezPaycheck?

Thank you,

Tammie

Yes, ezPaycheck payroll software can work for you.

You can choose to print these information on paystubs from employee setup.

ALSO:

If an employee has 30 YTD PTO hours and we paid him 15 hours, those 15 hours will be deducted from YTD or how we can track those hours?

- You will see PTO earned for each pay period and YTD information on paystub.

- You can also view "Employee Paid Off" for more details (ie: accrual, used and available). You can click left menu "Forms and reports" then "Reports" to access this report.
