2.1 If you lost account data, employee data and paycheck data, You can click the top menu "Company", then click the sub menu "Select Company" to view Company account list and switch current account.
2.2 If this new account is with correct company settings, you can change the "list after date" to view more paychecks.
Step 3: If you backed up your payroll data before, you can restore your data easily.
Start ezPaycheck, then click the top menu "Company->Restore Company" and select the database file. ezPaycheck will copy this database file to the application folder.
Then select the new database file as current company database by clicking the top menu "Company->Select Company".
Step 4: Copy the file back manually
The database file is .mdb (Microsoft Database) file.
The default data folder is:
C:/Users/Public/Documents/Halfpricesoft/ezPaycheck
If you used old version ezPaycheck 2012 and earlier before, the database folder can be
C:\Users\**YourName***\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Halfpricesoft\ezPaycheck
or
C:/Program Files/Halfpricesoft/ezPaycheck
Or you can search "*.mdb file" manually.
If you can find the data, you can copy it back to the default folder. Then select this database file as current company database by clicking the top menu "Company->Select Company".
