Before you can eFile using ez1099, there are a few things that must happen in order to get through the process successfully. Make sure everything in this article is completed before moving on to the next step.
Downloading and Purchasing ez1099
Downloading and purchasing ez1099 is required to access Halfpricesoft's eFile Service. Go to this link to download ez1099. Once downloaded, purchase ez1099 by going to this link.
You will need to purchase the advanced version in order to use the eFile service in ez1099.
Purchasing 1099 eFile Service
In order to successfully upload your 1099 eFiles using Halfpricesoft, you'll need to purchase the eFile service. Use this link to purchase your forms. You'll need to purchase an eFile form for every 1099 form you will be eFiling.
If you receive a partial success when e-filing (some files accepted and others rejected), the rejected forms will still count toward the forms you purchased. To resubmit any rejected files, you will need to purchase additional e-file forms.
We recommend purchasing 10% more e-file forms than the total number you plan to file to allow for any necessary resubmissions.
Creating an Account on Halfpricesoft's Online Portal
To upload your eFiles successfully and to check the submission status of your eFile uploads, you'll need an account on Halfpricesoft's online portal.

When registering your account, use the email that you purchased eFile forms with. The purchasing email needs an account in order to upload your eFiles.
