IRS e-File 1095/1094 Guide: Resolving "Accepted with Errors" Status
ez1095 software makes it easy to print and e-file 1095/1094-C and 1095/1094-B ACA forms to the IRS. If you received an "Accepted with Errors" message from the IRS, here is the solution.
Who can follow this guide
Both current ez1095 clients and non-ez1095 clients.
Step 1: Please back up the ez1095 database file and the original XML files.
4.1. If you're unsure about which correction to file, please contact the IRS office directly for guidance.
4.2. Do not directly edit the XML files. Instead, edit the 1095 Forms within ez1095, generate new XML files for corrections, and submit them to the IRS.
4.3. If you originally submitted using another software, ez1095 can import 1095/1094 data from your previous XML e-file documents. You can then correct form errors, generate new XML documents, and submit them to the IRS.
